No cocktail shaker? Use a travel mug or large mason jar with a lid!

You guys! This is so refreshing! If you love gin (and a hint of herb flavor), you’ll be into this one. Don’t let the egg white scare you off. If you’re making this with pasteurized eggs it is 100% safe and creates an incredible creamy texture and pretty foam layer at the top. Cheers!

Per Cocktail:

  • 2 oz Tequila Blanco

  • 1 oz Rosemary Fig Simple Syrup (see simple syrup recipes here)

  • Crushed Ice

  • Splash of tonic water

  • Optional: fresh rosemary sprig and sliced fig for garnish

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, rosemary fig syrup, and some cubes of ice.

  2. Shake hard until your hand is so cold that you can’t hold on anymore (about 20 seconds).

  3. Pour drinks into your glass of choice that are filled ideally with crushed ice. Pour in a splash of tonic water to taste (I suggest about 1-2 oz.

  4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of fig on the side. Enjoy!

*Too sweet? Only add 1/2 oz of syrup next time, or top with more tonic.
